10 years of L'Etape Brasil by Tour de France

This year, the picturesque city of Campos do Jordão (SP) will have the honor of hosting the seventh edition of L'Étape Campos do Jordão. This highly anticipated event will close the 2024 season of L'Étape Brasil, which has also seen stages in Cunha (SP) in April and Rio de Janeiro in June. These events, endorsed by the Tour de France, represent the pinnacle of road cycling competition in the country, attracting cyclists from all backgrounds.

L'Étape Campos do Jordão will gather approximately 3,200 athletes, mostly amateur cycling enthusiasts. Participants will have the choice between two carefully designed courses that will test their limits and showcase the natural beauty of the region. The short course, measuring 66 km, will feature an elevation gain of 1,300 meters, while the long course of 107 km will offer an even greater challenge with an elevation gain of 2,300 meters.

The start times for the racers are as follows: the long course will kick off at 6 AM, followed by the start of the short course at 7:30 AM.

In addition to the sporting aspect, this event will also be a celebration of Brazilian cycling culture, bringing together enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. We look forward to witnessing the smiles, the spirit of camaraderie, and the dedication of cyclists on the roads of Campos do Jordão, thus illustrating the very essence of L'Étape by Tour de France.
